[sdiy] just getting started with synthesizers

hello i am just getting into synthesizers i have all read made sum basic things like a VCA envelop shaper a vibrato oscillator a tone generator and even a white noise generator square wave triangle wave and all so a sine wave to and a drum machine ( yet to assemble ) got it from Barton musical . As you can see i do have a few bits and bob's to hand but what i like to know please  what ells be best to get next as i can get sum sounds but a little limited to what i can do . i even made my self a very simple keyboard it only has six buttons on it so far . Any way love to expand it a lot more and any advices would be very help full thanks o and sum thing fairly simple would be nice to as skills are on the modish side  LOL :) . But as i say any help would be a big help thanks
