[sdiy] traffic lights

Back in the 1970s I built a traffic light from a magazine article that 
used a few 40xx series CMOS ICs and some transistors to drive the lamps.
If I find the article, I'll post it.
Nowadays, you can do this easily with a PIC, Arduino, or whatever 
microcontroller and some transistors to drive the 12V lamps.
