Harry is right, I did not understand what he ment, but have been thinking about it and realized he is right.
Jean Pierre, imagine the following situation:
1st string 11th fret, 2nd string 12th fret.
When scanning 1st strig, you will get 1st string connected to 10th and 11th fret and the 2nd string will be connected to 11th and 12th fret, causing the 1st string to be connected to the 10th, 11th fret and the 11th fret will be connected to the 2nd string and the 2nd string is connected to the 12th fret. So you will get 10th, 11th and 12th frets connected to the 1st and 2nd string, which also will be connected, which the cpu will not be able to get right.
Back to the drawing board...

That's true but it's not the way I see it:
When you do a chord on the fret board the cpu
that scans the X(frets)/Y(strings) axis will read only the
nearest held frets from the pulley brigde (which is non-conductive).
So if 1st string is held at 12th fret (from head)
& 2nd string is held at 11th fret;
The cpu reads one string at a time and memorizes
12th fret for 1rst string & 11th fret for 2nd string
(starting reading from the bridge)
even if both strings are held on the finger board.
So polyphony is readable.
