Thanks to Laurie at Elby designs, there's a schematic available for a
MIDI activity indicator
(http://www.elby-designs.com/midi-interfaces/midi-about.htm) which is
what I need for my project.

My Atari Mega STe computer which I'm in the process of 19" rack recasing
as mentioned in other threads will have numerous MIDI expansion devices
from C-Lab/Emagic:

I want all of my MIDI IN and OUT ports to have their own LED, indicating
where data is flowing. The LEDs will all be on a PCB behind the 19"
front-panel while the rear-panel will have a PCB with the MIDI
DIN-connectors as well as the electronics for the MIDI indicators. This
board will have Molex connectors that go to each of the MIDI IN and OUT
ports internally (i.e. inside the 19" rack enclosure).
Here's a block diagram which better explains it:

The original schematic from Laurie is here:
http://www.elby-designs.com/midi-interfaces/midi-activity-indicator-schematics.pdf

And I've recreated it in Eagle as two PCBs (one for the 3 IN ports,
another PCB for the 9 OUT ports).
Here's the MIDI IN board:
http://home.c2i.net/w-460389/atari/midi_indicator/Atari_3xIN_indicator.pdf

And here's the MIDI OUT board (NOTE: I've only drawn 2 OUTs so far):

Does it look correct?
