I use the MTA style headers... I remove the pins
and solder the (stripped) wire to the pin
(in the normal insulation displacement slot) then
put the pins back into the housing. NEVER had a
failure.
OTOH most engineers like to solder crimp pins
anyway. Who trusts a pure mechanical connection ???
