All that coil is doing, is making a resonant circuit at the operating
frequency.
Obviously yu ave copletely the wrong coil, if it has more than two
terminals!
You probably have a RF transformer of some kind.

Personally, I'd trawl Google for simple one or two transistor FM
transmitters,
and check the coils there. Usually, they give instructions for winding your
own,
it will probably be something like 10 turns of solid wire wound on a pen or
similar. Some experimenting is necessary.
