Drat! Perhaps they should have done more marketing / explanation of
their product to industry... I'm honestly surprised that they didn't
see more success in replacing expensive/elaborate mechanisms with
their own simple solution... I thought of any number of good
applications, provided the QTC substance behaves as advertised. Shame
they're not still in production, if true. :-(
In fact there's still one application for which I shouldn't lose the
opportunity to experiment with QTC... if I can't find any still in
stock with mouser/digikey/whoever's their US supplier, I may have to
try Farnell or Maplin... do they sell internationally/to USA?
