[sdiy] warning / nightmarish Farfisa problem

The tuning is set by the adjustable coils, and by their
associated capacitor.
In theory, now that the coils are no longer adjustable,
you could still tune by fiddling the capacitance.
It won't be easy, though.....!
Replacing caps, tacking others in parallel...

I remember looking at a Farfisa once & the tuning slugs were
pretty crumbly anyway. Maybe you could drill out the slug
& try pushing a bit of ferrite into there. Smash up an old
transistor radio ferrite rod antenna core & mix with hot glue
to make a new slug.
If you are that kind of guy....I confess I'm not!
