[sdiy] warning / nightmarish Farfisa problem

Hi,

Some time ago, maybe a year or most likely more, I tuned my Farfisa
Professional combo organ. Then I used this substance meant to lock screws
for locking the adjustement screws of the tuning coils (I didn't know I
could have simply used candle wax). I had bought the substance from a car
parts shop. I said that I wanted the softest locking substance possible.
Unfortunately as soft as possible also seemed to mean as liquid as possible.
Guess what the locking liquid has done? It has turned into glue. I tried to
turn one of the adjustement screws of the Pro a moment ago, and it broke
instantly.

So a warning to everybody: never use "Loctite 222" or similar for locking
tuning coils, no matter how soft it is supposed to be. You'll ruin your
organ. That's what I did, as sad and lame as it is. Why do I have to learn
everything the hard way...

Luckily a friend of mine has a parts Farf Pro, and maybe I'm so lucky that
he'll sell me the tuning coils of his organ. I'm not sure, since he might
also need them.

However, I guess it's worth asking, does anybody know of any substance that
I could use to "unlock" the adjustement screws of my Farfisa Professional?
Something that would make the Loctite melt again without destroying the
coil. Any help would be appreciated, and anything is worth trying - I can't
really make things worse. OK, the organ happens to be in a decent tuning,
but I doubt it will stay like that forever.

Of course, if somebody happens to have a parts Farf Pro (it would be more
smart to buy 6 coils from my friend and 6 coils from someone else so that my
friend wouldn't need to sell all of his coils)... Yeah I'm hoping for a
miracle.
