[sdiy] Korg Polysix Problem

Hi everyone
I recently (and for the last time!) took my Polysix to
a gig - Sadly, when plugging it in at the Gig, I was
sad to find that it had developed a fault.
The device was working fine in my flat, but travel to
the gig, or cold air at the venue itself had taken its
toll and stopped the device from working.
Here are the symptoms.
When switched on, the Polysix goes through its 'reset'
but the device does not light up any of the patch LEDS
(I would normally expect A and 1 to be alight, but
they are not). It does, however, respond to the
POLY/UNISON keys.
When pushing Bank A button, LED A does light up.
When pushing any of the 1 - 8 keys, they do not light
up, but instead after a time , all LEDS from 1-8 light
up - One after the other in a row, before going out.
Before starting to study the schematics once more, I
wondered if anyone knew what the problem may be?
I have tested for loose connections/sockets etc, but
didn't find anything.
Suffice to say the instrument makes no sound. The
internal 6 LEDS on the sound board corresponding to
each voice never light. It sounds like a CPU board
issue. The synth had had the dreaded 'battery leak'
problem on a few of the tracks when I received the
unit a few years back, but these were repaired
successfully at the time (by me).
Thank you
Christian
