[sdiy] i want to mod a stylophone....any suggestions?

I just want to point out that the coolest use of a Stylophone Is in
the They Might Be Giants contribution to the "Brave New World"
television show called "Dan vs. Cog".  Here's the video clip:

It's not the best video quality, but...

It's a visit to the MIT Robotics Laboratory where drummer Dan Hickey
gets into a contest with a robot named Cog.  Guitarist Dan Miller is
seen playing a stylophone, including a wonderful shot taken from a
minicam mounted on the Stylophone stylus. (!!!)
