Have you checked into all of the other specials from Advanced Circuits?  Their bare bones service might fit, if you can do without soldermask and silkscreen.  They'll do a one-off of any doublesided board up to 12 * 16.

If the board works and you reach production, you can also credit the bare-bones cost towards the regular order.

I've used the service several times, and it's always been good.  Short turnarounds for one-offs (less than a week), good boards, and free popcorn.
