Go to the Dick Smith site and do a search for a 4017, and follow the
resulting link. The pic shows a 4017 that looks like it was pulled
from a socket by a bulldog.

Although the picture of a pot for a "comparator" doesn't exactly
inspire a lot of confidence either...
