Wouldn't n00b/generic FPGA questions be better directed to a place
like comp.arch.fpga or comp.lang.vhdl or somewhere with more
traffic? I honestly think you'll be able to get up and running
faster on a group specific to FPGAs. You may even get lucky enough
to be insulted by Austin from Xilinx*. ;)
Nick.
*On comp.arch.fpga there is a Xilinx employee who actively
participates in discussion but often makes remarks I would be
embarrassed about if I were a part of Xilinx. At any rate Xilinx
condones this behavior.
