Reminds me of my experiments with using arbitrary math functions for 
wavelet generation on the Amiga. But 256 byte waves (as supported by 
AmigaBASIC) just weren't enough to produce anything meaningful.

Too soon the result always sounded nasal/thin like a narrow pulse-width 
pulse.
