[sdiy] TR-808 HH patch on modular

Can anyone with a familiarity of the schematics of the TR-808 hihat section give a close approximation on how to simulate this sound on a modular system (MOTM, for example)?

I tried white noise into a HPF with a little resonance in the upper-mid freq, but it lacked that "bite" that the 808s has. But perhaps it depends on the filter choice?

I've used samplers for many drums sounds, but have never been content with sampled 808 HHs (or 909 bass drum for that matter) compared to the real thing.

Ps - Oh yeah, any hints at an 808 snare patch would be great as well ;)
