Personally I'd actually keep the LM301's - it's not as bad as you think. I
think BiFET amps are way overrated for audio. Suitably compensated the LM301
can have very good high frequency response. The only place I could see using
FET amps would be in areas where you need a higgher impedence, but in a
synth environment that would likely only be if you were intending on
interfacing a guitar with it...
But if they really are only LM301's you can trade them for LM301A's.
If you really want to go the BiFET route LF356's are available in cans like
LM301's.
