Hmmm...  as far as I remember the sequencer is realtime-input only.  
It has 256 memory locations but when recording a sequence the address  
counter is free running, so its difficult if not impossible to record  
a different note into each memory location. Am I correct? It's been a  
while since I played with it.
Anyway, I also tried to recreate "on the run" back then but I didn't  
get anything that sounded remotely similar. My daughter said my  
results sounded like a didgeridoo played underwater:-)

Or because it's so difficult to get something useful out of it? ;-)

Hey, in the days of DSOTM hihats were triggered by drumsticks and the  
built-in pedal only!
