:) I'm with you on that one. If there's a good tone to start with I'm

Improvised timbre was explored a great deal by Don Buchla IMHO. One
reason why his systems were lacking in the VCF department was because his
oscillators were so well equipped with timbre modulating possibilities.
Thing is, once you can modulate timbre so well filters become A LOT LESS
interesting. The 259 Complex Oscillator is a masterpiece if you want to talk
about improvised timbre. Check out the specs. I'm sure you'd agree.
