[sdiy] The case of the sticky solder pt. 3

Did some work soldering trim pots and flying wires to some PCBs
tonight, and so was using Kester 245 rather than the 331 which has
been giving me so much trouble. All of the problems I have been
experiencing (soldering not adhering to pads, not flowing correctly,
etc. etc.) instantly vanished. The solder flowed absolutely
perfectly. I'm beginning to think that I got a bum batch of 331.
So... for the time being, I'm going to just use the 245 since that
seems to have resolved all of my problems.
Thanks for all of the suggestions and advice.
Sam E.
