Sorry, I deleted the original post by mistake.
Whoever asked, please send me again offlist.
The WASP is a really excellent subject to NOT
study CMOS from, or put another way... a really really
GOOD subject to study PhD level CMOS use.
The designers of the WASP used CMOS in some of the
most bizare and imaginative ways possible. There are
a host of 'dirty tricks' and analog uses that can
be found in the WASP.
I need to review the specific questions you (you know who
you are :^) asked. Maybe that part of the circuit is truly
digital and can be understood easily.
The WASP is cool, but i remember thinking "who the fvck
would buy this" when I saw it in the store. OTOH in the
USA it was probably WAY too expensive to consider seriously...
and the membrane keyboard was a total joke iirc.
OK, ok... the original PAiA 2720 keyboard made from the
piano wire and shirt buttons was the ULTIMATE joke... the
WASP is second place. OK ok the Stylophone is second, the WASP
is third... but you get the idea :^P
