That's exactly what I want to use.
I have some TelMe mobile parts including LCD + resistive 4 wire touchscreens. I 
just want to use the touchscreen and so I ordered samples of the MXB7846 and 
MXB7843 from Maxim (Analog Devices AD7843 [but NOT the AD7846]and Texas 
Instruments ADS7843 & ADS7846 are the 
same) that have an SPI interface. I jus received the samples yesterday but need 
to make an TSSOP16 to DIL adapter board for testeing the chips...

I want to build a MIDI version, not the analog version...
But an analog version would only be an extension for my MIDI version...
