RGB to NTSC encoders can be as cheap as $79 on eBay
They also have S video outputs and stuff.
Synch is normally on the green channel.
The 1K output of most synth modules connected to 75 ohms is, guess
what, 700 mv. or 100 IRE units.
Almost magical.
