I would not call the NE5517 an exact equivalent to the
LM13700. Its is a closer cousin to the LM13600... but with the
bais current mirrored to the darlington buffer instead of
directly connected (if that makes much difference :^)

If you do not use the buffers, the LM13600 / 13700 / NE5517
are the same damn thing !!!

NJR makes the NJM13600/NJM13700... VERY VERY close to the
National parts (I found the National parts work a little farther
OUTSIDE the specs, inside they are equivalent)
