It does seem wise to test all objects before you place your CE sticker 
on the back. But, maybe, by proving that you are using time tested EMC 
reduction techniques and good engineering skills one could get away with 
this alone.

Either way, you will not have a problem until someone complains and 
takes you to task over it.
