Oh, I'm sure you're right. Lead is far too heavy to become a vapor at
that temperature. But I'm sure a good deal of it fizzles and
splatters all over my hands and face while I'm soldering. What with
the boiling flux and all.

If it's anything like the flux in Kester 245 (no clean), then yes. I
just recently started using that stuff, and it's sure nice to not have
to clean (esp. for pots, jacks, and wires), but boy does it stink and
burn. Nasty!
