Personally for internal shielded wiring I use Van Damme console cable 
which is very thin (overall diameter 2.7mm), nice and flexible and not 
too brittle (28x0.1mm stranding).  I use the balanced type which can be 
used for wiring to pots, switched jacks, etc. where 3 connections are 
required and 1 of them is earth.
