I know. I remember Gene Stopp bringing up the idea of the Obie
logic put into a single FPGA - *many* years ago.

At work, I have a dozend FPGA and ASIC designers sitting next to me.
Their tools, and workflow, are intimidating. (But I see that the analogue part
of our mixed signal ASICs looks intimidating to them as well.)

Who knows what I'll do with this board.

But I really hope in time there will be programs available for this, just like
for that Chameleon thing. I'll gladly just be a user then, not a developer.

In fact, with all the traffic on synth-diy, I expect there to be many
interesting projects to choose from, in the near future.

When all these mails with FPGA in the topic line were coming up, I was torn
between making a killfile, or buy a board myself. I decided on the latter, and
still won't turn into a programmer. I hope. :D
