 I'm running ISE on both WinXP pro and Fedora Core4 (linux).

Note to those running low on memory: Project Navigator (the ISE GUI) 
uses _lots_ of memory: Minimum 400MB before you've even done anything. 
Synthesis, Mapping, PAR all take even more on top of that. I'm running 
out of memory on a Virtex2Pro100 design with 2.7GB. If you find this is 
a problem you can run the essential tools from the DOS command line and 
save the overhead of the GUI.
