Hey Chris. :)
Aye. That thought came up as well. My first thought on it, was
setting the Decay control for 'no movement' to 0, with a +/- action to
it. But that would entail coming up with logic around the zero point,
to keep it 'centered' in the timing for each step. :( I didn't like
that portion of it for the simplicity of things.
Thinking on it further - say I wanted to do a grace note BEFORE the
1st step in a sequence, I could set the last step that way, to super
delay it, before it happens. That could have it working as an 'intro
grace' to the 1st hit of the following cycle. (Repeat the idea
through the entire sequence, for the idea.) I was happy with that
possibility in it. :)
Another possible way, could be to delay the entire timing for the
sequence by one step. (Inversion of the clock, if I'm not mistaken.
If not - then a double inversion - each of the idea, through a
flipflop.) That could take care of it, no?
