[sdiy] diy Ribbon Controller

Hi guys,
I'm new to diy synth, but I really wanna learn some basics about building up
my own synths/controllers/whatever.
One thing that I'd love to build is a Ribbon Controler like the one in
Kurzweil K2600. I have no idea how hard is it, but I'd want to try.
Anyone with any information about this, if could share, I'd be very happy!
