I think they are similar to the 4558.
Just use duals instead of quads. 8-)
My favorites are:
TL071 / 072 / 074 where high input impedance is needed
CA3140 / CA3240 where higher input impedance is needed
Discrete transistor circuits or NE5532 or AD275 for "demanding" audio
circuits,
TL071 / 072 / 074 or RC4558 for less demanding audio circuits,
LM324 / LM358 / uA741 where slow = good (immune to interference)
OP-07 for slow, low offset applications,
TL080 for tailoring slew rate,
12BH7 for driving 600Ohm lines with 4:1 transformers 8-) 8-)
