I came up with a slightly odd / different idea tonight at work, for part of
modular synth. ;)
Has anyone out there, attached covers to their toggle switches? To cover
the moving switch portion itself?
I thought of something tonight that I'd like to cover the 30 of them in my
sequencer panel with.
Looking at the shape of the toggle switch though, it's slightly larger at
the end, than it is closest to the switch. So anything that I attached onto
it, would have the hole large enough to fit over the end - which would make
it looser at the bottom.
My only thought so far (so that it was not PERMANENT, if I had to replace
the switch), was silicone, or liquid (hardening later) rubber. I don't know
how sturdy these would be though.
Anyone - have any past experiences with this / thoughts / ideas on it?
Thanks for any suggestions. :) I'm going to try my first one withOUT
anything else inserted, and see how well it holds. :) If I'm lucky, I wont
need ANYthing to hold 'this' on. ;)
