MEP-4 is a really fun box. You can do MIDI delays and flange.
Also change velocity, mod wheel or breath control to Note Ons for  
showers of notes.
(one way to test the robustness of a MIDI interface, that will crash  
it if it can be done)
Some very whack uses for a box that probably can now be bought for  
$25 or less.
