Which Korg uses an 8085?  I don't remember one of those in any of them, but 
then it's been a while since I've been into them...

The 8085 is,  from the software side,  an 8080 with only a couple of added 
instructions (RIM and SIM),  or you could even use a z80-specific assembler 
if you prefer that style of mnemonics,  as long as you stay away from using 
the z80-specific instructions,  which isn't all that hard.
