It's exciting getting an unexpected express parcel from the USA...
...until you see it's from Roland's lawyers.

They thought that my Frostwave SpaceBeam infringed their D-beam.
Thanks to some helpful packrats on this list and StompboxDIY, I was
able to show that the principle of a reflected modulated lightbeam 
proximity detector goes back to the 1960s. End of story.
