Ah, Aaron -- just imagine what it was like to be there when it was 
happening!  The biggest limitation of the '70s was lack of 
communication.  Those issues were like a worm-hole to a totally different 
world.  Whenever an issue would come I would drop *everything* to study 
it.  One of my highest highs ever was when Bernie was kind enough to 
publish my earliest writeups.  And I never even knew if anyone was paying 
attention to what I submitted or not.
