I can't see the point of being TOO precious about the number of bits. After all, the first generation of CD player was only 16 bits. Now it's true that steppiness in CVs driving oscillators is a very bad thing... but, even for the world's slowest sweep, I can't see 16 being a problem. paul perry melbourne australia
