If assember is easy... :) Well, now there's now C-wrapper option available ;)
Many people seem to be cocking their own little apps with that. (Note,
MIOS handles the lowlevel stuff and provides functions to deal with
that)

Yup, AOUT_LC is a cheap discrete r2r DAC with 8/8 or 12/4 resolution
