And where it gets real fuzzy is modifying GPL code and using it as a
resource for your commercial applications. You have to provide the
source code for your build, modified GPL based binaries. But not for
your own code.

Take any windoze generic "PDF printer driver" for example, available
from $0 -> upwards (adware, GRRR)..  All of these are just fancy
frontend/ glue code to the Ghostscript.
