Hi All.

I'd rather see this done with OS layer handling I/O (MIDI, LCD, Analog
CV, gates, clocks) and also having basic (expandable) data
manipulation routines.

Then this this platform would be running user applications, which
(hmm) might be programmed with computer editor - Why not a visual one,
drawing lines between modules, setting defaults ect.  and this editor 
then would "compile" this structure as "user application", ready to be
uploaded as sysex to the module.
