Well, yes, the situation with the actual PSIM is a disaster. Sorry that your
name is tied into that, but I don't think that your stellar reputation has
really been tarnished; people know where the problem lies (apparently
something with the LED matching process, yeah...).

More to the point, though, I was wondering whether the PSIM met your
specifications, which you answered: Insufficient RAM.

So, okay, the actual PSIM is virtually Unobtanium (it's a TM of Oakley, the
bastards!) but we don't care since it doesn't meet the specs.

As you suggest, there are lots of variously talented people on this list.
Let's put our heads together and design a successor to the PSIM-1, folks.
I'm startin' a new thread...
