[sdiy] Another kit supplier disappeared

I got some nice off-list replies yesterday to my question about EFM. As 
I trawl through the intarwebs looking for more nifty synth-diy material 
to stuff my bookmarks list, I came across Midwest Analog Products which 
also seems to have gone the way of all things sometime last year. Their 
website is gone now, but the wayback machine is a great resource for us 
archeologists:

They appear to have had some interesting kits at reasonable prices. Any 
ideas what happened to them?

2005 seems to have been a bad year for analog synth & DIY. At least PAiA 
is still around. Of those that remain, who do you recommend?
