There are many soundcard based scopes.. uh, like Winscope.

For DC - hey, get your el cheapo old soundcard, short the DC blocking
caps, build a  simple external adapter unit with simple protection,
biasing and say attenuation circuits, not that hard and should work
okies - hopefully before burning your OLD PC :)
