[sdiy] DIY Kenton Plugstation? or simmilar hsot for yamaha PLG?

I am looking for the cheapest was to implement physical modelling (wind,
brass, string). I thought of using Yamaha VL PLG boards, but I would need a
cheap host for it.

Kenton has soemthing, does anyone know of a simmilar system that is DIY?
