[sdiy] Rosin flux - remove or not?

Many vintage synths still have their rosin present.
Personally I will clean up the rosin around sensitive areas, remove any
large "pools", and ignore the rest. Cleaning up involves using a fine tip
screwdriver to chip it away, then giving it a quick scrub with an old
toothbrush.
