If stuff really is sensitive to static electricity, I can see
a case for runnng a humidifier (same as if you had a 
$8,000 piano!).
Fortunately for me, the question never arises in 
Melbourne Australia.

I'm pretty suspicious though that anything would take out
THREE DIFFERENT Prophets that were turned off......
and leave everythng else in the studio OK. I can't
imagine how that could happen.
