Example 6.5 on that page is clearly in error.

Good luck on your test. I remember a mid-term exam where I was marked 
down for an answer I though was correct. When I challenged the professor 
afterwards he agreed that my answer was correct but refused to give me 
credit because "that's the way I graded everyone else's test too."
