         Peltier Bad m'Kay.

Some people used peltier cooling years ago. Got real cocky and OCed their 
machines. Then the peltier failed and their CPUs did a fairly brief 
rendition of a Vera Lyn song, grew wings and shuffled off it's mortal 
voicecoil. Finally vanishing in a puff of smoke. This is why none of the 
computer fabricators ever used such devices. Though it must have been 
tempting. Instead they resort to heat-pipe coolers and miniature 
refrigerators masquerading as heat sinks.

Or as a pair of crazy New Zealanders tried. Pumped, Liquid Nitrogen cooled, 
fluorinert. Only a curious thing happens when fluorinert gets too cold. It 
turns to jelly and clogs the pumps.

Something that won't save your bacon any time soon is a recently devised 
method of making water (read liquids) run up hill using the  Leidenfrost

The beauty about this is that there are no moving parts. The heat it self 
drives the coolant. Better still would be a system where the heat could be 
recovered as energy and re-used at the same time. The trouble with 
computers is that they get hot, but not hot enough to drive a steam 
turbine. How about the first perpetual motion powered computer?

Incidentally, porting to the room environment is the principal behind 
subwoofers such as the bose acoustic wave canon. The idea is that the air 
that moves out of the end is more stable where it interfaces to the room. I 
suspect that the exhaust pipe on a car serves a similar function. So 
there's a hint for you.
