>From memory, the Kahler human clock (if you can find one) has an input jack
to accept a trigger which drives the sequencer. It also  has start/stop and
reset. I guess a kick drum could be pre-amped, and gated to provide a
suitable tempo trigger.

Dunno how well it works though, I've got one stored away in the loft but
have never played with it.......
